Pixboom Spark – Highspeed Camera
The Pixboom Spark is a compact high-speed camera with a Super-35 global shutter sensor, capable of recording at up to 670 frames per second in 4.6K open gate (3:2) and up to 2,182 fps in 2K. The back-illuminated sensor with dual native ISO delivers more than 13 stops of dynamic range and operates without an optical low-pass filter for maximum detail sharpness. Footage is recorded in compressed Pixboom RAW format on the removable Pixboom Pro Card, offering up to 2.5 TB of capacity and write speeds of up to 10 GB/s. Thanks to its interchangeable electronic lens mount, the camera is compatible with E-, EF-, and PL-mount optics. For output, it offers 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 connections as well as USB-C with up to 20 Gbit/s, controlled via a 3.5-inch touchscreen. Weighing under 1.1 kg and featuring an integrated V-mount battery plate, the Spark is designed for mobile use in high-speed productions.
