IronGlass MKII Rehoused Prime FF 37mm T2.8
The IronGlass MKII Rehoused MIR-1V 37 mm is the versatile standard prime in the Soviet cine lineup, based on the proven Tessar design. It delivers a balanced, natural perspective with gentle contrast, smooth edge falloff, and neutral color reproduction. Lines and structures are rendered sharply and without distortion, while subtle flare adds a distinctive analog character.
The robust cine housing features a precise internal focusing system, clearly readable T-stop markings, and a 15-blade aperture for smooth, organic bokeh. Already used in film productions such as Dune: Part Two, The Batman, and The Creator, the MIR-1V adapts via PL mount to cinema cameras including the Alexa 35 & Mini LF, RED Raptor, and Sony Venice. Covering Super 35, Full Frame, and Large Format, it maintains a minimum focus distance of just 36 cm, enabling detailed, distortion-free imagery.
